Step 1: Downloading Epic Games Platform
If you already have the Epic Games platform installed, skip to step 3.
If you do not have the Epic Games platform installed, go to the website here: https://www.epicgames.com
Click on “Get Epic Games” in the top right hand corner of the screen. This will download the installation app. Run the set up file and install the Epic Games platform onto your computer.
Once the Epic Games platform has installed, launch it and you should be met with a Login window.
Step 2: Login or Create an Account
You only need to have one account for Epic Games – if you already have one then simply login to your account using your username/password.
If you do not have an Epic Games account to create one simply click on option to register or create an account.
You may need to activate your email address in order to use your Epic Games account.
Once you have logged in you will see the main Epic Games window.
Step 3: Activate Your Game
In the main Epic Games window you will see your username and player icon in the bottom left corner. Click on your username and in the drop-down menu click “Redeem Code”.
A new input box should now appear. Enter your product code and click “Redeem” to activate the product to your account.
Once you click redeem the game is bound to your account forever and cannot be removed.
Step 4: Download Your Game
If not promoted to download your game immediately, click on “Library” to view your games, and then click the “Install” button below your game’s cover.
To view the download progress click on “Downloads”. Once the game has installed it will be in your library and ready to play.
